Mushrooms on Toast


  • 4 large slices wholemeal bread
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • knob of butter
  • 350g mixed mushrooms

Toast the bread, cut each slice in half, then set aside.
Heat a large frying pan with the olive oil.
Add the mushrooms. Cook for 6 mins on a medium heat.
Then add the butter and cook mushrooms for a further 2 mins until the mushrooms are soft and a nice golden brown.
Add salt & pepper.
Pile up on the toast and enjoy!
